Our Mission
To create an environment that truly upholds the human rights and equal access to opportunities of persons of diverse SOGIE (sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression) through legal literacy and empowerment with respect to SOGIE and gender-based laws and policies.
Founded in 2005, Rainbow Rights Philippines (RRights) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as Rainbow SOGIE Rights Philippines, Inc.
RRights contributes to the promotion and visibility of the human rights of persons of diverse SOGIE in the Philippines. It aims to help engender a broader institutional and societal understanding of the need for proper legal protections for persons of diverse SOGIE in the Philippines.Meet The Team

Pura Luka
Amadeus Fernando M. Pagente, also known as Pura Luka Vega, is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and public health advocate.

Ian Layugan
Ivan Jim Layugan is a teacher, writer, and researcher working in the Philippines and Japan. His research interests are children’s rights, gendered narratives during disasters, and participatory culture.

Reyel Inocencio
Reyel Xavier B. Inocencio, advocates for trans rights, labor rights, sexual and reproductive health, and reproductive rights.

Chase Go
Chase Go, is an advocate of trans rights and education, and legal gender recognition.
